The Center’s Vocational Support Services are growing and currently supports over fifty (50) individuals who are active participants in vocational experiences & competitively employed in the community.
The Center's Vocational Support Services (VSS) is currently partnered with over thirty (30) employers, and has developed strong relationships with an additional sixteen (16) community-based businesses that are utilized as internship and assessment sites.
VSS provides support needed to individuals with an I/DD, who are 21 years or older, who have a desire to obtain beneficial employment opportunities in the community. |
The average length of employment for individuals in VSS is ten (10) years, with a range from several months to twenty-eight (28) years on the job.
