The Center for Developmental Disabilities (the Center) is more than a place. We’re a home, we’re a support system, we’re a community, but most importantly -- we’re a place to create dreams.
We invite you to become the Center’s 2023 Philanthropic Partner so that together, we can enrich the lives of children and adults who are living with disabilities.
For the past 65 years, the Center has been providing comprehensive services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities so that they can achieve their dreams. The Center provides residential, day, vocational, and support services to more than 500 children and adults.
Philanthropy is an essential component of our work. It impacts every aspect of our mission so that those that we support can live, work, learn, and enjoy recreational opportunities in the community of their choice.
We want to highlight some dreams that became real this past year.

Kim has received services from the Center’s Vocational Program for four years. Kim’s dream of connecting with others, becoming independent, and thriving at work has been realized as she is now an integral part of her Shoprite family. She is appreciated by customers and coworkers alike. Kim recently lost her mother and was uplifted, guided, and spurred on by the support of her Center team, coworkers, and customers, who showed they care deeply about her. Kim has thrived at her job and seems the most content she has ever been. |

Efrain came to the Center a little more than a year ago. Since he was at the Center, much has improved, including his living arrangements and employment opportunities. Efrain always wanted to drive and to have a car of his own. Because of his hard work at the Home Depot and the support of the Center, he is now the proud owner of a vehicle. |
